Liv Gibson
Graphic Design degree from Birmingham City University.
10 years in marketing and design across hospitality, retail, aesthetics, fitness and more.
I love big ideas, small businesses and turning pub chats into strategy.
Usually paddle boarding, crocheting something unnecessary, or casually scaring Erin with my next “what if we…”
Marketing should feel human. That’s my thing.
Erin Parkinson
I turn Liv’s late night ideas into actual plans.
I am newer to the industry, but I am hands on, quick to learn and love making things happen properly. When Liv says what if, I am already mapping it out.
I believe social media should be fun.
Consistent, strategic, but still fun. The best content feels natural, not forced.
You will usually find me baking, walking in the countryside, cuddling my three dogs or reading in bed.
Why SOMA?
We met working part-time at a local pub and have been friends ever since.
After the OxInABox Awards 2023 and a trip to Bali, we knew we wanted to build something of our own.
Mondays became our day: admin, planning, big ideas, then a chilled evening debrief at Liv’s. We didn’t dread Mondays. We loved them.
With Liv’s business already growing, it felt natural for Erin to come on board.
Different backgrounds. Same drive.
SOMA means Monday in Balinese.
And that’s exactly where we began.
